Whether it's a slouchy Sunday or mojito Monday the publics beady fashion eye is always on the look out!

Being an A list celebrity means of course being in the media’s eye, being in the media’s eye means becoming a 24/7 style icon. Whether it’s a slouchy Sunday or a Mojito Monday the public’s beady fashion eye is always on look out for new trends.

Living in a generation with so many different styles and era’s contributing to fashion it has become such a huge industry and celebrities can sometimes be the source of a new trend or item of clothing.

Alexa Chung for example, a television presenter, model and also a huge fashion icon shown through her contribution as editor at British Vogue. Alexa is able to team items from several different eras all into one outfit creating her our style as inspiration for her fans. I love Alexa Chung’s style as she challenges fashion by twisting the feminine side we all have with a boyish style creating something unique and preppy.

For a casual day look Alexa has teamed a 1960’s inspired feather clutch bag with white overalls and black Birkenstocks.  The outfit is a key summer look to keep her cool and comfy and a white overall and linen shirt combo keeps Alexa looking classy but striking.

Alexa has managed to create an effortless and affordable outfit for students on a budget and here I’ll show you how:
